How will a hair transplant change my life?

By Alex

Getting a hair transplant is a big deal, and most people decide to get one based purely on wanting to improve their appearance. However, after talking to a lot of our clients after their hair transplants we’ve seen that hair transplants can have a bigger impact on your life than just improving your appearance.

Today we’re going to talk you through the different ways having a hair transplant can change your life for the better.

You’ll have more confidence

At the Harley Street Hair Clinic, we have produced some amazing results for a variety of different patients. We always like to invite our patients back to the clinic around one year after their transplant so that we can take a look at their results and ask how they’ve found having a new head of hair.

As you will see in our client testimonials a lot of our clients express how happy they are with their results and how our FUE hair transplant procedure has not only changed their appearance but also boosted their confidence. Having a new head of hair has a huge impact on your life, something that most clients don’t realise until the procedure is finished.

One of our clients, Jonathan Saccone Joly said his hair transplantchanged my life and I don't know if they realise how much of an impact this is going to have on my life but I’m going to walk out of here and I’m going to feel so much better about myself and my confidence will be up

The boost in confidence can really change you. Once you start to feel more confident you’ll notice a knock on effect and see your happiness and self-esteem boost too.

It could boost your career

We often get high profile clients from acting or modelling backgrounds come to the clinic wanting to fix their receding hairline. Most of our clients who come from an acting background want to restore a more youthful appearance to give them more years in their casting bracket.

We recently worked on strengthening the receding hairline of Paul, an actor who lives in London. Like most, he wanted to restore the appearance of a youthful hairline as he felt it would have a great impact on his acting. You can take a look at Paul’s whole hair transplant journey on his YouTube channel. James Nesbitt recently spoke about how his hair transplant helped push his career by landing him more leading roles.

Getting a hair transplant can help to boost any career, not just one in acting and modelling. Many people find that the confidence boost they get after having a hair transplant shines through to the workplace, resulting in them feeling more confident in the workplace and working harder. Something that doesn’t go unnoticed.

Your chances of getting a date will improve

A recent social experiment highlighted that a 31-year-old Tinder user found he received 75% more interest on his profile once he had a hair transplant, improving his chances of getting a date.

Richard King took part in a very simple experiment, he created two Tinder profiles of himself: one before his hair transplant, and one after. Both profiles were identical, with the only difference being the photographs to ensure the results were accurate.

His first profile showed a profile photo of him with a high receding hairline, something he felt was affecting his self-esteem and overall confidence, which pushed him towards his hair transplant surgery. The other profile showed King with his new head of hair.

He ran the two profiles simultaneously and found that his post hair transplant profile received 203 matches, compared to just 116 matches on his pre hair transplant profile. The 75% increase in matches was all because of his new head of hair.
