Should I get ATP?

Advanced Tricho Pigmentation, or ATP is a treatment offered exclusively at the Harley Street Hair Clinic. The treatment is still relatively new and we get asked a lot of different questions about the treatment and how it works.

Today we’re going to tell you everything you’ll need to know about ATP and if it’s the right treatment for you.

What is Advanced Tricho Pigmentation?

Advanced Tricho Pigmentation, or ATP is a highly specialised treatment that is offered exclusively at the Harley Street Hair Clinic. The treatment works to achieve the appearance of hair and the results can produce the appearance of fullness on the scalp and brow area, and can also create the appearance of a full head of closely shaven hair.

ATP is similar to other pigmentation treatments you might have heard other clinics offering, such as scalp micro pigmentation (SMP). ATP is a more advanced treatment and our specialised team always work towards getting the best and most natural looking results.

How does Advanced Tricho Pigmentation work?

The best way to explain how our treatment works is by comparing it to a tattoo. ATP works in a similar way; natural pigments are applied to either the scalp or brow area by one of our team members who work delicately to replicate the appearance of each hair follicle or hair stroke.

The process deposits tiny amounts of the pigments to the area and it is positioned within the dermal layer of the skin. Unlike other pigmentation treatments, ATP was designed from the ground up with the sole purpose to mimic hair. The entire system has been created from the start to offer the best and most natural hair restoration possible.

Should I get Advanced Tricho Pigmentation?

Advanced Tricho Pigmentation is a great treatment for men who have noticed their hair is thinning, the treatment can be used to apply pigment to these areas and help to add the appearance of fullness and density.

The treatment is also great for some clients who are not suitable for a hair transplant as they do not have enough donor hair. The treatment can be used to mimic the appearance of a closely shaven head over the whole scalp.

Lastly, our treatment works for those who want to achieve a fuller and more defined brow. The treatment can be used in the brow area to create natural looking hair strokes and works to build the appearance of natural fullness.
